MIFF “Listapad” added some variety to the programme of documentaries

On November 9 there is a screening of a documentary telling about Hungarians with Down syndrome in the “Centre Video” (shopping mall “Stolitsa”, Nezavisimosti Sq) at 3.30 p.m. After the screening there’s a theatrical performance by Belarusian children with Down syndrome.

In contrast to the common belief, Down syndrome is not the end of the world. People with this disease live and develop in a special way and they can be talented and creative, which will be proved after the screening. Belarusian children with Down syndrome are ready to show their creative skills in a small performance they prepared. Hopefully, they will manage to break stereotypes about the disease and make people look at them in a different way.
