Accreditation

Dear colleagues,
To cover the Festival the Directorate invites you to pass a simple procedure of accreditation.
We kindly ask you to familiarize yourselves carefully with the Media accreditation guidelines for the work at the Minsk International Film Festival “Listapad”.

1. Terms and Regulations of Media accreditation (for newspapers, magazines, news agencies, radio, TV channels, internet editions).
1.1 A media may introduce 1 representative (+1 photo-correspondent) to the accreditation. An exception is TV crews, whose personnel is to be coordinated with the Festival Press Centre in advance.
1.2 To be accredited for the Festival it is required to fill in an application form that is available to download on our website.
1.2.1. The application form should be filled in correctly, signed by the Media editor-in-chief and certified by the editorial stamp.
1.2.2. In case the Media have already covered “Listapad 2010” it is necessary to enclose a copy of (link to) the broadcasted (printed) material.
1.2.3. In case the applicant has already been accredited and covered the work of previous Festivals, the copies of (links to) the materials are to be provided.
1.2.4. In case the applicant is going to work at the Festival for the first time, it is necessary to enclose copies (link to) his\her materials of the similar topic.
1.2.5. Applications are accepted from September 01, 2011 till October 15, 2011. Application can be sent via mail:

1.3. At the press-conference anticipating the opening of the Festival, accredited Media representatives will receive special accreditation cards which allow to cover the Festival fully.
2. Accredited media representatives rights
2.1. Festival accreditation enables one:
2.1. to get information about the upcoming events organized within the framework of the Forum (mailings, announces, reminders, etc.);
2.2. to get acquainted with information materials (press-releases, press-dossiers, newsletters, etc.);
2.3. to visit briefings, press-conferences and other events for press.
2.4. to attend open Festival events (screenings, discussions, round table discussions, theme parties).
2.5. to get all the necessary information from the Press service staff (particularly during briefings, meetings and press-conferences specially organized by the Press service.
2.6. to get assistance of the Press service in organization of meetings, conversations, exclusive interviews with the participants, guests and organizers of the Festival.
2.7.to use technical equipment and communications facilities of the Press centre necessary for the efficient work (software, Internet, etc.).
3. Restrictions on accreditation card use.
3.1. Due to the peculiarity of the Festival opening and closing ceremonies the number of the accredited media representatives for the respective events is limited, so the entrance to these events is proceeded through invitation cards.
3.2. In case of partner events coincided to the Festival but not organized by its Directorate, the number of invited media representatives can also be limited.
3.3. It is not allowed to pass the personal accreditation card to a third person. The exception is the force majeure (Press service will be informed about it forehanded). It is possible to pass the personal accreditation card in coordination with the Media editorial board only. In case of the unfounded card transfer the accreditation will be canceled.
4. Responsibilities of accredited media representatives.
During the Festival events the accredited journalist should:
4.1. observe the professional ethics rules and the working procedures of the Press centre;
4.2. not interfere with the course of the event he or she is present at (if it is not organized specially for press);
4.3. observe the order of organization and holding of the personal meetings and conversations with participants, guests and organizers of the Festival.
4.4. submit the copies (web links) of the broadcasted (published) materials at any available carrier in the course of the Festival work coverage. It should be at least 1 issued material. Otherwise, the Festival Directorate reserves the right to deny accreditation of the respective Media in future.
5. Accreditation denial.
5.1. The Festival Directorate reserves the right to deny accreditation to any Media grounding its reasons.
The reasons of the accreditation denial can be the following:
5.1.1. accredited Media and journalists quota exceeding,
5.1.2. untimely application submission,
5.1.3. non-compliance of the accreditation requirements,
5.2. In case of non-observance of the rules and responsibilities by the accredited journalists the Festival Directorate has a right to cancel the accreditation.
