For participants

Applications for the participation in the Competition are accepted till September 1, 2011.

Films participating in the Competition are to be aimed at the children’s audience. Mandatory requirement is the absence of violence propaganda, erotica, smoking advertisement, drugs and alcohol abuse.

Only full-length feature films for children and youth produced during last 2 years (year of the competition and the preceding year) may participate in the Competition program, regardless of participation in other international and national festivals and competitions. The decision on the inclusion into the competition program is made by the screening committee by a majority vote.

Films participating in the Competition program are shown from 35 mm film, or from the digital carrier (DVD).

The Festival Directorate defines the number of films participating in Competition program.

Non-competition program includes:

• retrospectives
• full-length feature films
• full-length and short animation films.
