Macedonia, 2010, 123 min

In the first part of the film two girls report a flasher to the police -

even though they never saw him. The second part is about filmmakers who
meet the only residents of a deserted village – an elderly brother and sister
who have not spoken to each other in 16 years. The third part shows a reporter
who writes about the murders of retired cleaning women which were found raped
and strangled in a small town. The fiction slowly turns into a documentary making
these stories unite in a film.

Milcho Manchevski
Born 1959 in Skopje.
Graduated Film Production at Department of Cinema and Photography,
College of Mass Communication and Media Arts, Southern Illinois University.
His first feature Before the Rain / Pred doždot (1994) won Golden Lion for
Best Film in Venice. Directed over 50 short films.
